Eun-Young Choi is a chemistry teacher at Korea Science Academy (KSA), an affiliate institute of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST). Founded in 2003, KSA was the first school in Korea for science-gifted students with the mission to nurture global leaders.
Choi has worked at KSA for 13 years and has served as the research team leader for two years. She is currently the head of the chemistry and biology department. Since 2015, she works as an affiliated professor at KAIST’s chemistry department, where she works to bridge gifted education between the two institutions.
Using her YouTube channel as a medium, Choi seeks to deliver necessary information to students through scientific equipment, global network activities and interviews with other students. In 2022, she received the Excellent Chemistry Teachers award from the Korean Chemical Society.
