Ryan Song

Professor, Kyung Hee University.

Ryan Song is a professor of law at Kyung Hee University. His main areas of interest are CSR, business and human rights, as well as science and technology policy in the context of global governance.


Ryan Song is currently an associate professor of law at Kyung Hee University Graduate School of Legal Affairs/Law School. His main areas of interest are corporate social responsibility, business and human rights, as well as science and technology policy in the context of global governance. Also, he serves as a board member for Korean Human Rights Foundation, and makes a regular appearance in the media as a commentator and/or a host of current affairs programs. An expert in Business and Human Rights issues, he is currently actively involved in establishing the Business and Human Rights policies and practices in Korea.

His previous professional endeavors include McKinsey & Company, a consultancy, Hong & Chang, a corporate law firm, and KAGRO, a business association. He holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School as well as M.P.P. from Harvard Kennedy School. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1990.
